  • About Me

As a counsellor and an educator, I specialize in child and youth mental health. I take a child-centred approach, meeting children where they’re at and supporting them in expressing themselves through play, creativity, and connection. I am trained in play therapy, sand tray therapy, and art therapy—modalities that align with my belief that healing occurs in safe, expressive, and imaginative spaces.

I aim to create a warm, compassionate environment where children feel seen, heard, and empowered. I also recognize the importance of supporting parents and caregivers—I work collaboratively with families to help navigate challenges and nurture emotional well-being both at home and in the community.

I was born in Cranbrook and moved to Kimberley in 2020. Before returning to BC, I worked as an elementary school teacher in Alberta, where I discovered my passion for supporting the emotional and social growth of children. In 2025, I completed my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University.

For the past twelve years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children aged 5–14 in various roles. I’m also involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, providing in-school mentoring to elementary students in the Cranbrook area.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors—paddleboarding, camping, and exploring the mountains. I’m also an avid reader and find great joy in cozy afternoons spent with a good book and a good cup of coffee. I love being part of the East Kootenay community and am grateful to call this beautiful region home.
